Texas Governor Greg Abbott threatened to cut off state funds for the city of Dallas unless the sheriff complies with federal law enforcement regarding illegal aliens.
“As governor, I simply will not allow CJD grant funding administered by this office to support law enforcement agencies that refuse to cooperate with a federal law enforcement program that is intended to keep dangerous criminals off Texas streets,” Abbott wrote.
Dallas sheriff Lupe Valdez has made Dallas into a so-called ‘Sanctuary City” for illegal aliens by refusing to hold dangerous illegal alien criminals for federal authorities.
Good For Greg Abbott. We need a Governor that will stand up for ending Sanctuary Cities. To Bad our President and Congress don’t have the balls enough to do the same. Harry Reid is a total disgrace to the Senate and needs to be impeached for corruption. Obama needs to be tried for treason and violating the US Constitution which he said he would defend when he took his oath for office. Thanks Greg Abbott for standing up against the criminal.
That’s not good enough he should cut off all funding to any city that offers sanctuary to the illegal invaders.
