Poll Shows Americans Think Obama Doesn’t Have Authority for Amnesty

A new poll by Rasmussen shows nearly 6 out of 10 Americans believe President Obama exceeded his authority when he issued his amnesty dictate.

59 percent of voters believe the president doesn’t have legal standing while just 25 percent say he does. “That’s up from 52 percent in February and a high to date,” said the poll analysis.

Overall, 56 percent oppose the president’s plan to let some illegals stay and apply for jobs. That’s up from 51 percent in February.

It’s clear as the American people get wind of Obama’s illegal immigration plans, they are taking a stronger and stronger stand against it.
