Increase in Numbers of Illegal Children Follows White House Prediction

A small fence separates densely populated Tijuana, Mexico, right, from the United States in the Border Patrol’s San Diego Sector. Construction is underway to extend a secondary fence over the top of this hill and eventually to the Pacific Ocean.

Last year, the White House and four Cabinet departments predicted over 60,000 illegal children would come to the U.S. from Mexico. They now expect the number to more than double, reaching 127,000 immigrant children by the end of 2015.

This contradicts the White House’s earlier statement that the increase in immigrant children from 2014 to 2015 was unexpected. President Obama had called the increase an “urgent humanitarian situation” and sought nearly $4 billion to handle the expanding immigrant presence.  A top aide in the Cabinet said the increase “was much larger than we anticipated.”immigration

A 24-page administration PowerPoint for congressional appropriators dated April 22, 2014 bluntly stated that border arrivals of “unaccompanied alien children” would rise “by nearly a factor of 10” in 2014 to 60,000 and jump to 127,000 “if these growth rates continue.”

Ted Cruz, a leading Republican presidential candidate, said that it appears the administration is deceiving the public about surge of kids. Referring to the 24-page PowerPoint, he wrote that it “raises significant questions about whether the administration has been truthful with the American people and Congress about its knowledge of the scope of the UAC problem.”

The PowerPoint is frustrating many immigration watchdog groups, who protest that Congress has not been truthful about its immigration knowledge.

We keep asking the same question:
HOW DOES OBAMA KNOW HOW MANY ARE COMING?
This is a very telling and important question. For if they have inside information, then there should be a trail of evidence. Questions abound:
With whom did they discuss this?
Where did these discussions take place?
    Who benefits from these discussions?
    Why did someone tell you?
Why are the children only from NAFTA AND CAFTA nations?
Who is paying for the children to come here?
    Did someone break the law?
    You get the picture.

Prediction? Obama knows how many are coming because he urges them to come and he states that more will come in future years…is that because of the trade agreement that he didn’t want any body to see and that means open borders for 6 years. It is time to beat somebody’s ass…

…cut off all funding and ship them back anyway! Let them sort out the mess!

  6. Children from NAFTA and CAFTA countries? Good question considering we were told first from Clinton that NAFTA would be a win- win situation for both America and Mexico. Americans wouldn’t lose jobs and Mexicans would have jobs and stay home. Didn’t quite work out that way did it? And then Bush gave us the same bullshit answer when it came to CAFTA.
