Dear Americans,
The Minuteman Project wholeheartedly supports Texas Governor Abbott and his fellow legislators in the great state of Texas. After decades of reckless neglect and abuse of our nation’s immigration laws the time is long overdue to rectify the long established insult to our concept of “a nation of laws.”
Without our political governors taking the necessary brave step forward to encourage respect for U.S. laws we will devolve into a quagmire of social discord and mayhem where laws essentially become meaningless.
If those opposed to governance by the rule of law declare war upon the Union in blatant defiance of the rule of law, then I can only refer them to the consequences of a Confederacy in 1861 that attempted to do the same.
It is extremely doubtful that the Union will passively let cities, counties, or states arbitrarily take the law into their own hands without facing martial law.
If it takes martial law, and the earnest and aggressive criminal prosecution of those persons responsible for such carnage, then so be it.
