BOGUS SOLICITATIONS FOR MONEY VIA DIRECT MAIL OR EMAIL

NOTICE TO PERSONS RECEIVING BOGUS SOLICITATIONS FOR MONEY VIA DIRECT MAIL OR EMAIL FROM ANY ORGANIZATION REFERRING TO ITSELF AS THE MINUTEMAN PROJECT:

The Minuteman Project has not done any direct mailing, or email soliciting, in over four years, and does not intend to do so in the future.

It is common for some marketing people to use another organization’s name to bogusly solicit for donations. This practice is rampant and I suspect at least 90% of direct mailers and email blasts are fraudulent attempts to swindle naive donors out of their money.

I routinely receive similar complaints from people who receive these bothersome direct mailers or emails, but I am not sending out these solicitations.

Do NOT respond to these invasive attempts to get your money, and eventually your name and address will probably be removed from whatever list some marketer buys for the purpose of soliciting for money.

I never ask anyone for money, either by email, direct mail, or telephone calls. People just voluntarily send money to me under their own free will. I think that is the best way to do business.

Sincerely Yours,

Jim Gilchrist, Founder and President, The Minuteman Project
