Speaker.gov — At his weekly press briefing earlier, Speaker Boehner addressed Senate Democrats’ filibuster of the House’s plan to fund the Department of Homeland Security and stop the president’s unilateral actions on immigration. Here’s what he said:
“The American people want to fund the Homeland Security agency, but they also want to stop the president’s unilateral actions with regard to immigration. And that is exactly what the House‑passed bill would do. Several times this week, Senate Democrats, including senators who claim that they opposed the president’s executive actions, have voted to block debate on this bill. I think it’s real simple: Republicans are standing with the people while Democrats are protecting the president, and I don’t think the American people are going to forget these votes.”

Remember who won the last election? Show them the consequences,, especially POTUS!! Let them eat their remarks. Otherwise we the voters- including former Democrats- made not a single change with the last election by putting Republicans in charge. You are leading US down the same road rejected by US- you know, the voters. Get going, We gave you our marching orders!! Shut them down completely!! Boehner could do more if he really wanted to. He’s just speaking to hear himself.
