Donald Trump called for a “complete shutdown” of immigration from Muslim majority nations in the aftermath of the terrorist attack in San Bernardino.
“We have no idea who is coming into our country, no idea if they like us or hate us,” Trump told supporters in South Carolina. “I wrote something today that is very salient…and probably not very politically correct. But I don’t care.”
Trump added that his proposal is “common sense” and “we have no choice”. He warned the crowd that “we can be politically correct and stupid but it’s going to get worse and worse.”
The proposed ban would stand “until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on,” his campaign said in a statement earlier Monday.
The statement added that Trump’s proposal comes in response to the level of hatred among “large segments of the Muslim population” toward Americans.
It also comes five days after a radical Muslim couple killed 14 people and injured 21 at a Christmas party in San Bernardino, Calif.
“Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life,” Trump said in a statement.
Trump thinks we should stop Muslim immigration temporarily until the system is straightened out which actually makes sense. Yet, once again the media wants to demonize him. Coming to America is not a right, it’s a privilege. In fact, I would go further and halt all immigration, we certainly need a break.
I think Trump has a good solution for immigration problems, particularly the violence of Muslims against Americans. They must not be allowed to come anymore. They pretend to be peaceful as they always lie and deceive. Once they as inside, they join terror cells and Mosques that teach them the 109 VERSES OF QURAN to kill all unbelievers the most painful means.
Unfortunately main stream media and many Republicans as well have distorted the meaning of what Trump said. They have left out the ending of his remarks which did not imply a permanent ban on Muslims coming to America. I fully agree with Trump and would expand that to all immigration for a period of time necessary to revise our security screening to better insure radicals cannot enter. There must be a policy that tracks people leaving our country for ISIS contact or other contact with radicals and these people must not be allowed to return ever. I found it very disturbing that so many in both Mainstream media and Republican conservatives beat on this Muslim issue all day ignoring the true intent.

All of the “Politicians” calling him out as un-American or that’s not American are part of the problem, Mr. Trump is 100% correct in his assessment of the Muslim Terrorist problem.
