Rick Perry Hits Back as Mexican President Criticizes National Guard on Border

Rick Perry fired back this week at the president of Mexico over Perry’s decision to deploy the National Guard at the U.S.-Mexico border, declaring in a letter he will use any legal means to protect his state from illegal immigration – whether Mexico likes it or not. Perry’s letter was in response to comments Mexican President Pena Nieto made during an interview last week with the newspaper El Universal. Nieto called Perry’s deployment of the Guard “not only unpleasant, I think it is reprehensible,”according to Breitbart. “This attitude is totally deplorable and does not resolve a problem a problem that we have to face in a joint manner,” Nieto said.   1. Rick Perry needs to include a statement to Nieto that if people are going to cross the border under these conditions, we are going to assume they are illegal. If there are people from Mexico that are legal in the USA, they better cross at the ‘cross walk’ or wave that card high in the air so we can see it. Kind of, ‘If they ARE legal, and get injured crossing at non designated points along the border, it’s not our fault’. Just to be clear.
