As part of the deal to end the witchhunt against Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Maricopa County, President Obama’s Justice Department has forced Sheriff Joe to provide Spanish-language services in Maricopa County jails.
In addition, Maricopa County will be forced to provide Spanish-language classes in its jails.
Comically, the Justice Department under Obama, which has acted wildly unconstitutionally when it comes to illegal aliens now says they will monitor Sheriff Joe’s operations.
Federal authorities will also become permanent overseers for all worksite raids, with the power to demand information about any raids that deputies perform. The Justice Department says it will scrutinize them to make sure they’re following the Constitution.
Obama’s enforcers are now free to micromanage Sheriff Joe’s operations to make sure he doesn’t enforce immigration law.
The case is the culmination of the Obama administration’s effort to push Sheriff Arpaio out of the business of enforcing laws against illegal immigrants, and federal authorities have been mostly successful.
Sheriff Arpaio had already agreed to stop enforcing a controversial state identity theft law, and disbanded its Criminal Employment Unit that had been the spearhead for those efforts.
If he wants to restart those operations, he’ll have to write up new procedures, get Justice Department approval of them, and turn over information about any raids, including video, to federal authorities for review to make sure the actions were legal.
The POTUS can’t force any citizen to do anything. A king does. A dictator does. Oh my, have we just figured the half breed out?
First of all sheriff Joe Arpaio runs a very ethnically motivated policing and corrections operation. I received a post card from a family member who was being held on an immigration hold, and on the post card were stamped notes and even a picture of the sheriff. The notes were demeaning to the nature of if you don’t want to eat balogna then stay out of jail. No family member should have to go through that. The conditions in his jails need to be investigated, and the way they talk to their prisoners and kidnap victims is dehumanizing. There is no innocent until proven guilty as your charges are thrown in your face constantly in a reminder to why you are there. It became hard to even take a call from my family memebr because I would hear the way she would be talked to. A Tanzanian citizen who arrived legally as a student, was trafficked to pay back her sponsor, however she was not and has never been treated like a victim. Maybe because her sponsor is an American citizen and she is just a lowly illegal alien.
What a bunch of b.s..The justice dept wants to make sure that Sheriff Joe is following the Constitution??? Why don’t they lead by example? They break our laws continuously.

Obummer ignores and subverts The Constitution but insists that Sheriff Joe follows it – while ignoring state and federal law??? Gimme a break! Obummer needs to be FORCED to follow the laws and Constitution himself, but if he did that, he couldn’t be King/dictator, which is what he’s aiming at.

This action just proves that Obama and the Department of Justice will go after anyone who tries to enforce our immigration laws. Illegal immigrants, especially criminals, don’t need a good immigrations lawyer, when they have the President of the United States and the Justice Department uses their power and authority to fight tooth and nail for them. A simple example of the abuse of power to preclude someone from enforcing the law and doing something that Obama does not agree with.
BS. Why don’t the prisoners speak English? Besides, all of those prisoners know how to speak English. Tell Obama to go sit on a hot stove.
The Obama admin cannot tell Sheriff Joe anything nor can they make him do anything. The sheriff and the jail belong to the county. They do not even belong to the state.
So are the Feds going to pay for it? I doubt it.
And they get away with it because they are Black and will scream racism if they don’t get their way.

OR….. say good morning in spanish and continue in English…… that stupid ass did NOT say the entire conversation had to be in mexican gutter talk, after all, if they are in jail….. that is what they are!!!! THE PRISONERS BROKE A LAW! Their benefits should be minimal and thank God Sheriff “JOE” showed up to enforce the punishment. POTUS should keep his nose out of this fine law mans business.
