County Commissioners in Sedgwick County, Kansas have petitioned the state to restrict the federally-mandated but state managed Woman, Infants and Children (WIC) welfare program to citizens and legal residents only.
Chairman Richard Ranzau on Wednesday proposed that the county ask the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, which administers WIC money in the state, to restrict program participation to citizens, U.S. nationals and immigrants who are in the country legally.
It’s not as easy as asking because:
KDHE spokeswoman Sara Belfry says U.S. citizenship isn’t a requirement to be eligible for WIC, and changing eligibility requirements would need state and federal approval.
Is it any wonder millions of illegal aliens scoot through our porous Southern Border? Just pass through and land on American soil and the entire welfare bureaucracy will immediately lavish you with benefits.
That should be nationwide.

What they need to do is ‘JUST DO IT.” People should be sick and tired of having to ask the Federal Nanny for permission to not squander our tax dollars. How do we get rid of illegals? It’s simple. Make it uneconomical for them to remain here and they’ll head on home. Time for a little revolutionary thinking to maybe straighten things out.
Why in the world would someone come up with the guidelines that there is no requirement for being in the country LEGALLY to be eligible for a government “entitlement” program paid for by the hard working LEGAL citizens of that country. The states over the years have allowed the federal government to have far to much control over state issues.

We have permanent residents, legal residents, special presence and many others, ..we don’t need any of these diff groups and we certainly don’t need to give our benefits to any one other than citizens. These other categories including illegals and those who were naturalized and are on welfare must be sent back to their country of origin.
The American people need to stand up and demand that their City, State and Federal officials cut off all American benefits to these invaders . For the most part, they do not want to assimilate into our culture .
They entered our nation without being invited, and without the benefit of Mental, Medical and Criminal background checks .
How can we trust Mexico and other Third World nations from giving us honest background checks . These invaders change names like babies change diapers .
Fraudulent documentation runs rampant among these invaders with the help of Pro-Amnesty organizations and our own government .

Blessed are they for having sanity! That is a sure fire way to get illegals to leave Kansas County…politicians just don’t have a brain the size of a pin point for giving them any damn thing anyway! We have to tighten the screws on politicians for giving our money away; if it was their money, it would still be in their pockets!

I would like to offer a modest proposal to deal with the illegal immigrant problem. It consists of four actions which will eliminate the present situation.
First, Mr Soetoro has invited illegals to come in and if they have been here illegally for five years they will be given amnesty. My proposal is much simpler. We should advertise that if anyone is here illegally, they have 30 days to go home, and if they don’t and they are identified, they will never, NEVER be allowed to become a citizen. Their name will go on a list of permanent NON-CITIZENS.
Second, if they refuse to go home they will be given only emergency health care and once stabilized, they will be sent home and put on the list of permanent NON-CITIZENS.
Third, They will not be given any welfare assistance , no food stamps, no housing ,no education benefits, no drivers license, no social security benefits, NOTHING. If they apply, they will be sent home and put on the list of permanent NON-CITIZENS.
Fourth, if they are working and their employer is identified, the employer will be fined $1,000. daily for each illegal employee. If they are renting housing, the land lord will be fined $1,000.00 daily . A system is already in effect to help employers and landlords in this effort. It is called E-verify, a program which has identified Mr. Soetoro as an illegal immigrant.
If the illegal leaves the U.S. they can go to the back of the line (wherever that is) and can apply for citizenship, but only if they go home within thirty days .
Mr. Soetoro has said we can’t identify 5.5.million illegals and deport them,. We don’t have to. Those who want to become American citizens will self-deport and come back legally. Those who don’t self-deport will eventually be identified by employers and landlords and be deported when they can’t get work or a place to live. It would cost a little to do the deporting, but it will be far less than the 2 trillion dollars estimated to effect Mr. Soetoro’s plan.
Finally, we must stop misinterpreting the 14th amendment as allowing anchor-babies. A child born on American soil of a non-citizen parent is not subject to the jurisdiction of the U.S., they are subject to the jurisdiction of the parent’s home country. This insanity must stop.
America has a choice: God’s Law, or Chaos.
