ICE Director Sarah Saldena testified before the House Judiciary Committee and refused to answer a question about her authority to deport illegal who were given three year deferments.
The question about these deferments are the central issue over Judge Andrew Hanen’s temporary injunction blocking President Obama’s executive action on amnesty.
In February 2015, when Judge Hanen first heard the case Obama’s lawyers told the court no action had been taken to process illegal immigrants.
However, later it was discovered over 100,000 special work visas have already been issued.
Here Rep. Louis Gohmert tries to get an answer from the director of ICE as to why she didn’t do her job and deport illegals who had acquired the fraudulent special work visas.
Apparently, ICE director Saldana was just following orders.
