Bernie Sanders – Slams Trump and Tweets love for Muslims

Bernie Sanders was predictable. “Let me begin right off, by telling you that I intend, as a United States senator and as a candidate for president of the United States, to do everything I can, in every way, to combat the xenophobia and racist rhetoric coming from Donald Trump and others.”

He said this on Tuesday in a video linked speech to a small audience at the National Immigrant Integration Conference in Brooklyn.

Last night he Tweeted this about Donald Trump:

According to the Bernie ’16 website, if elected, Sanders says he would accomplish the following.

  • Dismantle deportation programs and private detention centers.
  • Offer asylum to victims of domestic violence and minors fleeing from dangerous circumstances in Latin America.
  • Pave the way for a swift legislative path to citizenship for 11 million undocumented immigrants.
  • Close loopholes that allow federal agencies to use racial and ethnic profiling at the border.
  • Make it easier for immigrants to access the judicial system.

At least you know what you’re up against with Sanders. He doesn’t change his message, even if it’s wrong. We’re not racists. It’s the Left’s default criticism to shut down debate. My family is made up of many races. But we’re all American and we’re legally here. It’s not racist to want people who move here to have been vetted and subjected to every scrutiny. That’s what the immigration rules demand and that’s what Obama, sanders and Clinton are all prepared to let slide.

Donald Trump is right here.

  1. What race is Islam? Phobias are unreasonable fears. The bible of Islam is the Koran. The Koran says kill the infidels apostates, Christians, Jews, homosexuals and anyone that is not of our sect. Assuming the Muslims follow their instructions, it is not an unreasonable fear they will fulfill Allah’s will.

  2. DenisetheCelt says

Bernie’s a JEW. Jews have been colluding with Muslims for centuries, to destroy White Christian Nations. Notice how ISIS (Israeli Secret Intelligence Service) NEVER EVER attacks Israel? And their oil profits go right into Israeli bank accounts?

  3. DenisetheCelt says

All the JEWS are lining up against Aryan Man Donald Trump, and defending and funding the Muslim invasion of the West. SEE it, people.

  4. why i won’t vote 4 B.S.!

  5. I think it prudent to add to the conversation that we should not discriminate based on religion. The Constitution guarantees freedom of religion. Also my understanding is that more Muslims have been killed by ISIS than any other religious group. So naturally Muslims are going to flee the region in seek of refuge.

  6. Clete Tacker says

Sanders is a nut. He had all these idealistic socialist ideas which have basis is reality and no way to pay for his insane view of what American society should look like. These illogical liberal socialists have the mistaken idea that socialism will work here in the United States because of all the wealth and prosperity here, but, they can’t seem to be able to grasp or reason the fact that there is great wealth and prosperity is because the United States doesn’t operate as a socialist nation. They are to mentally unstable, irrational and devoid of logic to understand that wussy they want for America will destroy it.

  7. And if Bernie Sanders gets to accomplish all of his wish list, we’ll be left with a bankrupt Third World nation. If he loves the Muslims so much maybe he should request that all refugees are sent to Vermont. The state isn’t that populated and it’s far too White. That should make him real popular at home.

  9. American Constitutional rights do NOT apply to non-Americans. It seems odd to have to point out such an obvious fact. In turn, Americans do not have whatever passes for rights in Syria. Fair trade IMHO.

Yet why do these Muslims seek refuge halfway around the world? There is plenty of room in non-war torn areas like Saudi arabia. They have plenty of money to support them too. Yet the Saudi have taken exactly ZERO refugees. Hmmmm.

  10. The preamble of the constitution states that all men are created equal, not just American men. I do not understand what you mean by fair trade IMHO. Muslims seek refuge in the US because they know that this is one of the greatest nations on earth, and want to be a part of it. And to your last point about refugees going to Saudi, I dont blame them for not wanting to, with Wahabi Muslims in Saudi. Also, are you sure that “zero” refugees have been taken into Saudi. That does not seem possible.

  11. The Constitution of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. It applies to Americans not to non-Americans. How can you not understand the difference? If you are not subject to American law, you cannot avail yourself of American rights. Its that simple.

Yes. The answer is ZERO. And why does it become my problem that refugees find a place which is geographically and culturally closer to them undesirable? They will be safe there right? I’m sorry it isn’t what they wanted but then again they are not Americans and as such have no right to cross our borders.

  12. Yes, they are humans, being an “American” is something devised of man, being human is something greater, I want to help people, and not just Americans, so as a human and an American, I am proud to help other humans. Also I know that the constitution applies laws to Americans, but I think its principles direct us to follow the creed that all men are created equal, despite religion.

  13. No one is stopping you from helping anyone. What you don’t have is the absolute right to stick a gun in my face an order me to help. (When you demand tax dollars then you are using force i.e. the gun).
You do not have the right to enforce rights again at the point of a gun against people who have not consented. If you want to work out your own emotional issues, please do so on your own time and with your own money. Do not involve millions of people who do not feel the way you do.

  14. Well I pay taxes and vote too. Just consider it my taxes paid and all the other people like me whose money goes to the refugees. And those refugees who come here and work pay taxes too.

  15. Yes you are you just don’t want to admit the ugly reality of your ideology. You do’t want to admit that you have no problem using force to impose your will because you are such a caring and generous human being (with other people’s money of course).
There is no such thing as a “social contract.” I didn’t sign it neither did you. It is a construct made up to make people who get queasy at the thought of using force to control people able to cope with their condition. You are demanding of me, at the point of a gun, (if I refuse to pay taxes I am arrested and jailed and if I try to leave jail I will be shot that is the point of a gun).

If your conscience is bothering you, please take care of it on your own time and with your own money.

  16. I would respectfully disagree with you on the social contract. If you don’t want to pay taxes and be “forced” to have your money used for the bettering of the nation and others why don’t you extract yourself from this country, no one is forcing you to be here and you can go somewhere that you will not have to pay taxes. of course it is not a tangible contract, but I would forward that it is an implicit one. You like the protections and comforts the US offers and in return you are asked to pay taxes. By remaining here you implicitly agree to that arrangement. And I don’t hold a gun to your head. Elected officials under the direction of the constitution (ratified by the states) then decide how to tax and how to spend it. It is a process that involves millions of voters interests, so I would hope that it would be quite obvious that you may not get your way on how every penny you pay is spent. As I mentioned I also pay taxes so my money is being spent too. I agree with some ways it is spent and disagree with others but I understand that I live in a nation with millions of others and of course I am not going to get to choose how it is spent all the time. Also my conscious is clear, with my time and resources I do what I can, I am just proud when my country also helps others.

  17. It’s a shame that you don’t understand the totalitarian nature of your argument. I am not a slave to the state. I cede certain parts of my personal sovereignty to it in order to create conditions most favorable to liberty. “If men were angels, no government would be necessary.”
Government has limitations that is what a Constitution is for. It’s power is limited and circumscribed by it. My rights aren’t granted by you and 50%+1 of the voting public says it is.
You might call that democracy but I call it mobocracy.

I feel sorry for you that you can feel proud about coercing your fellow citizens into doing whatever it is that you deem “moral.” I consider your position to be deeply immoral. I would not object to you personally doing or spending whatever you want to assuage your conscience but I draw the line at using force to compel others to do the same. You of course do not want to acknowledge your complicity in coercing your fellow citizens and use the balm of this so-called social contract to cover your guilt of holding that gun to my head and compelling obedience.

This is exactly why the power of government must be circumscribed. Because they hold the monopoly on the use of force. I’m sorry you choose to ignore this but it true.

  18. So the logical question that I need to pose is whether you believe our current government is a totalitarian one. I would contend that that is not the case.

First, I don’t think that I ever hinted or inferred that you
were a slave to the state. But you do live in the state. Where you say you cede
certain parts of your personal sovereignty in order to create conditions favorable
to liberty that is what I would consider the social contract. Also thank you
for citing Federalist 51, I agree and believe that it goes exactly to the heart
of my point, men are not angels, thus government exists, and thus a social
contract is put in place to benefit society as a whole.

I agree government has limits and those limitations upon
individuals are limited in the constitution. I think here is where we part
ways, as do many Americans. Taxes are constitutional, and the income tax is
even an enumerated amendment to the constitution. Furthermore, as I am sure you
know the tenth amendment gives powers to the states which they use to collect
taxes through their own laws and constitutions, voted on by the people (either
by proposition or representation). Thus the social contract is modified. My
position is that by remaining in the United States you agree to the “terms” of
the social contract. If you did not you should just leave the US, no one is
going to stop you (unless of course that country you which to go to has
    antiquated and arcane immigration laws!).

Also, I never mentioned anything “moral” and you are free to
consider my position immoral. I just said that I am proud that my country uses
its resources to help those in need, even if they aren’t the same “nationality”
as myself. I would only argue that I pay taxes the same as you. But being a
part of this country, the constitution posits that I pay taxes so I do, not
because the government holds a gun to my head. I guess I am just led to believe
that you do not think you should have to pay taxes, and if this is the case
than you are violating the constitution, something you seem to suggest is what
should control government, so I am just somewhat confused on your stance.
