National Post – China has succeeded in landing a craft on the moon, pulling off the first soft landing of a space vehicle in almost 40 years. The U.S., meanwhile has launched into a debate over minimum wages, and whether raising the current minimum from $7.25 would damage the recovery now gathering speed.
The U.S. finds itself needing to keep wages near poverty levels in order to attract investment. The Economist magazine reports that a virtual airlift has developed as mayors from towns and cities across the U.S. descend on China in search of investors willing to build factories to hire their residents.
