TPNN — The left has had a difficult time coming to terms with the truthfulness of the term “illegal immigrant.” In recent years, Democrats and their counterparts in the mainstream media have danced around the term, offering coy little euphemisms like “undocumented immigrants” and- my personal favorite- “undocumented workers.” However, those that come here in violation of our laws cannot rightfully be called anything but “illegal immigrants.” They are here illegally and they’re immigrants. To gloss over the criminality of their migration is misleading; it’s like saying Jack the Ripper was an “unlicensed surgeon”- the term just doesn’t quite fit in terms of relating the illegality of their actions.
