Obama: I’ll act on my own on immigration

FOXPHOENIX — President Obama on Monday said that if Congress doesn’t take up immigration reform he may have to look at taking executive action. The President held a news conference at the White House, lashing out at Congressional Republicans and House Speaker John Boehner for refusing to take up immigration reform this year. He said that he would go at it alone, using executive action. “Today I’m beginning a new effort to fix as much of our immigration system as I can, on my own, without Congress,” said President Obama.
